Flowers

"What a desolate place would be a world without a flower!  It would be a face without a smile, a feast without a welcome.  Are not flowers the stars of the earth, and are not our stars the flowers of the heaven."
-  A.J. Balfour

The local council always do a lovely job of the floral displays  in our town. This is outside our local library and it is just beautiful with a multitude of colourful flowers.  I took a few pictures and decided to post my favourites.

Hope you enjoy them too. Here's to a new Monday and the start of a new week.

Your close-up of the yellow one--is it a marigold--is wonderful. Beautiful flower gardens too.

The second shot is absolutely lovely! Would you know the name of the flowers in the last shot? I saw a lot of them this weekend and couldn't help but wonder what they were called? Isn't it a strange coincidence that you put them up as well :)
