Baby's Breath

Well I bought myself some flowers on Friday night - I'm good to myself am I not!!!!  Well I figure I deserve them and that's good enough for me he he.
I buy them because I like them and also because I like to take pictures of them.

In this bunch was some Gypsophila or Baby's Breath - are you impressed that I know the name of this one?  I know I am!!! :)

I drizzled some water on it and here it is. So pretty!!!!

Now that is one cool and clever idea. I need to do it so I can practice shooting droplets. I want to be able to catch the reflections in them and so far have not been able to pull it occ. Your photos are inspiring to give it another try or two or three. Thanks for a great post. genie

Wow, I love the droplets of water! Great macro shot! Do you have a macro lens? If so, which one?

Good on you for treating yourself to some flowers- i think that kind of stuff is important. Baby 's breath is just as the name implies isn't it- so sweet and tiny and delicate. Really like the fact you sprayed them before you captured them making that extra element. Lovely.

Believe it or not Ellie, of all the flowers that I have photographed, I enjoy photographing Baby's Breath the most. It's white, it's tiny, and I just love it! Your photograph here is just beautiful!

Thank you so much for sharing this today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a great day!
