Roses For A Good Week

Well, I've survived my first week of dieting and exercise. It's going well so far and I'm quite pleased with how I am getting on.

I should maybe explain how I am doing this!!!
I found that one of the magazine which I like to read (Woman and Home) have a diet website.
So I signed up - it's really easy.
You just note down on the computer what you have eaten over the day and it tracks all the calories you have consumed. It also tracks any exercise that you do and how much water and fruit you consume in a day.
So you have a running total throughout the day to tell you how you are doing.
I have to say I'm finding it pretty easy - it's early days yet though.
But I have high hopes. :))

So, because I feel I am doing quite well  I decided to treat myself to a bunch of flowers - it was really a spur of the moment purchase.
I spotted these lovely roses for £3.00 in the local supermarket.
So I thought to myself - that'll do for me!!!

They are so pretty with their frilly petals and red tinged tips and it's so nice to have some flowers in the house.
It fair brightens the place up - and it gives me an excuse to take some piccies, lol

The above shots were taken in the dining room - where I usually take any pictures.
But when I saw the lovely light coming through the kitchen window I grabbed my tripod, camera and rose and started shooting in there.
I love how the light is shining on the petals.
So pretty!!!!

Now if  I do as well next week on this new  health kick I wonder what I should treat myself to, mmmm.

Any ideas???

Well done on the Woman and Home diet! Did you have to write down the Italian soft nougat made with strawberries?!
What a good idea to reward yourself with some lovely orange roses... much better than chocolate!
I'm still recovering from my birthday cake!

so glad you splurged on flowers and not something to eat sweet. :)

maybe a new pair of walking shoes should be an upcoming treat!

Hi Ellie! Good luck with the healthy eating! It would help if the weather warmed up a bit... I've been guilty of eating far to many biscuits with my cups of tea lately :) Lovely photos!

Very pretty especially with the water droplets Ellie.
Well done you!

Must have a look myself Ellie
as I could do with shifting a few lbs especially before summer kicks in (if ever)!!!

Love the roses.
