Eye of the Needle

Well I had no new pictures for today so yesterday I was wandering around the house camera in hand. I was looking for something, anything, to take a picture of.

Karen is sewing some soft toys for Christmas presents - I can't show you the finished articles as certain people may or may not be reading my blog.  So I decided to take some pictures of the thread.
You know I took 50 shots until I got one I was happy with lol.

Anyway this is them.

 I've linked up today with

You really should go and visit - always lots of lovely pictures to be seen.

These are fantastic! I think it is so much fun to find something we consider ordinary and make it look like this through a camera lens. Great job, Ellie!

Sometimes it's really hard to find something to take a picture of, especially when the weather outside is not so inviting...! You made a wonderful choice Ellie! And maybe you can show the finished toys after Christmas!

I love the second photo -- the needle, the wood, the thimble, and the thread -- all lovely.

The thread is such a pretty color, but what I love is that thimble hiding over there in the corner. Reminds me of my grandmother who had such a lovely thimble collection. Have a great day!

These are wonderful images, Elie! Terrific composition and detail. The warm colors are so very pretty against the wood grain of the table. Very nice, indeed!

Dearest Ellie,
Oh, lovely fluffy shots♡♡♡
I used to (haha, when young) enjoy knitting; easy ones.
Made me feel warm, my friend♬♬♬

Now, you got me wanting to take some close ups of some of my sewing tools.
That is so sweet that Karen is sewing toys for people...I love homemade gifts. Make sure you post a pic once they have been gifted!
