Alison Krauss - Dimming of the day

I was watching Transatlantic Session on the telly one night the other week and this came on.
I totally loved it and decided to look for it on the computer.
I couldn't believe it when I found the actual recording I saw on the program.
It is such a beautiful song and so beautifully performed.
Hasn't Alison Krauss got the most wonderful voice.
Anyway here it is - I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!!!

The link is not working on my computer, but it may simply be because I have a very slow connection! Diane

Oh, I did not need this...sitting here tears streaming. I have loved Alison Krauss long before she was popular.

I love her songs Heart Strings and Steel Rails, and a bunch of them...she is popular over here.

I just thought of another group you might like...Nickel Creek.

Try this one (it has an ad at the beginning but you can skip it):

And also this one which I think is my favorite:

Let me know what you think.
I'm a bit of a fan of the Transatlantic session - if I was in charge of the BBC you'd be getting much more folk music on the box.
I love Alison Kraus and Union Station. Probably my favorite voice and her music is so relaxing.
