A Quiet Life

There is not much happening in our neck of the woods just now.
No exciting news!!
and no drama's (thank goodness)

Life is trundling along at a quiet pace - which is good!!!

Laura is settling nicely into her new flat and Karen and Emma are beginning their university lives.

But all of this quiet living leads for boring posts doesn't it?

So, to spice it up a wee bit I though I'd show you a picture of the blueberry bush that Karen bought.  Sorry, that is about as exciting as it gets around here at the moment, lol.

Please excuse the half finished fence painting - we will get around to it some day :))

I'm pleased to say this is a really healthy plant

Just look at all of that fruit - I can't wait till it is all ripe for the picking.

I love blueberries!!!!

It is so windy here just now that the branches on the plant were really blowing around while I was taking this picture.
I'm just hoping that the wind does not steel all of that lovely fruit before I can get it!!!

I hope life is just that wee bit more exciting where you are!!!

But I'll take the quiet life just now thanks very much.

Quiet is always nice. Looks like you have a beautiful blueberry plant filled with plump fruit. We found a few wild blueberry bushes on our property and they produce quite nicely. We have to be careful to pick the berries as soon as they become ripe because hungry Cedar Waxwings will strip the bushes bare in a couple of hours. Blueberry pancakes, blueberry muffins, blueberry pie ... enjoy!

Quiet is a good thing:) But I'm not sure you need to be worried about the wind on that beautiful blueberry bush:) I'd keep an eye out for the rodents and feathered ones:) So enjoy the calm peaceful moments. There seem to be less and less of them as I get older.

Thank you Ellie for your thoughtful remarks regarding my brother. I am taking some days off (til Tuesday) to begin a better time ahead. When one passes on it sure does mess with your head. I'm ok. Just need some time to be more calm and relaxed. :D

Whoa! This blog looks exactly like my old one! It’s on a completely different subject but it has pretty much the same layout and design. Outstanding choice of colors!
