What a Morning!!!
Do you remember this plant from a few days ago?
Well we went back out that way for a cycle tonight and this is what it looks like now.
It's a pretty poor picture and quite out of focus - there is a reason for that.
The midges were out in force tonight and we were being eaten alive (nearly).
I hate midges, especially when you are cycling through a cloud of them. They get in you hair up your nose - yukk.
Anyway, I wanted to show you what it looked like. Who would have thought such a big flower would have appeared!!
Now my other news for today is:
Emma got her higher exam results in today. She was very nervous as she needed to pass certain exams to get into her university course.
Well she was at a sleepover with her friend last night and she came home at 8.30 this morning very upset thinking she hadn't done as well as she had needed.
It's so hard to see your kids upset like that :(
Anyway she managed to collect herself and phoned the university to see what to do and they told her her exam marks were fine and she was succesful in getting her place.
How great is that!!!!!
She is sooooo happy and a totally transformed girl, she went from tears of despair to tears of happiness.
Oh my goodness - such a stressful morning. But all is well.
I'm so pleased for her and I am also a very proud mum. :)))
