Frilly Petals

I bought myself some carnations the other day.
Well, I felt that the house needed just a wee bit of colour so they weren't really for me, I bought them for the house. Does that sound like quite a good excuse, it sounded good inside my head :))

It has been so grey and dismal here and the weather is fairly horrid at the moment, What I wouldn't give for a lovely blue sky - oh well I suppose it is November!!

Anyway I bought these carnations - aren' t they pretty??
I just love their frilly petals.

In fact when you get in real close it is like another world in there - with all of those shapes and colours (that's what I think anyway, but then I might be a wee bit daft!!)

Za oknami domu szaro, ale w domu dzięki kwiatom jest weselej. Bardzo lubię goździki. Pozdrawiam.
The windows of the house gray, but at home with flowers is merrier. I like cloves. Yours.

It's so nice to buy oneself some flowers when the weather is grey outside. They make our homes come alive, don't they? I'm sure these flowers made for a cheerful corner and gave you an excuse to get out your camera to capture their cut-out petals and the cheerful colour!
Flowers are a must when the weather is horrid, they just make you smile and cheer you up! These carnations are particularly lovely! :)

Definitely other worldly. They are so detailed, they almost look fake or like they are made out of paper!
