Arran On A Clear Day

Thank you all so much for your anniversary wishes. We went out for dinner last night and had a lovely meal at our favourite place in town to eat.  Now we are heading into our 25th year - yikes :))
I'm hoping that for our big one next year we are going to go on a bit of a special holiday - but we will have to wait and see.

Yesterday was such a lovely clear day and we couldn't believe just how clear it was over in Arran - I don't think I have ever seen it is so much detail. So I had to grab my camera and take a picture.

I haven't done very much of interest today - just some housework, you know ironing (yuk - I hate ironing) and the like. But at least it is done now :))

Sending good thoughts and wishes to all who have been affected by hurricane Sandi.
It looked very frightening on the news so I can only imagine how scary it was for you all.

Widok jest piękny.*** Prasować też nie lubię.*** Przyroda potrafi być okrutna, pokazał to huragan Sandi. Pozdrawiam.
The view is beautiful. *** Iron did not like it. *** Nature can be cruel, he showed the hurricane Sandi. Yours.
Hi Nana Ellie,
Glad that you had a nice anniversary
and next year will be especially special for you all.

Like you I am thinking of people affected by the big storm in the USA,
it is dreadful.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your week off.

Take care

What a lovely scene of mountains. Gorgeous.

Thank you for the positive wishes for those involved in Hurricane Sandy. It's amazing how huge it was and how much damage it caused. My son and family live in Northern Virginia. They were without power for a time, but are otherwise just fine.
I am happy that you had a nice meal for your anniversary. I love the photo, it such amazing scenery.

I like the patchwork view over the water I can see when I enlarge your photo!
My thoughts are also with all the people who have suffered during the devastation caused by Hurricane Sandy.
I'm glad you had a good time! We were expected to have a good day yesterday but it was overcast all day. Lovely t o see the pictures of Arran. My father was there training in the war and we saw his name mentioned in the museum in Arran when we went there a long time ago. It's a special place! Joan
