Friday's Ramblings
It's Friday - yahooo!!!.
It's doubly good because I've got a weeks holiday next week. It will be so good to have some time to myself :))
We were hoping to get away for a couple of days to Loch Ness but the car isn't fixed yet - we haven't given up all hope of getting away we will just have to wait and see.
I kind of hope that we do get away though 'cause I was quite looking forward to it. However if we don't I'm sure I can find something else to occupy my time, I'll certainly not be bored :))
Laura is coming for a visit tomorrow, it will be so nice to see her. The only trouble is she is flying to India tomorrow evening, it is work related and not for pleasure which is a pity, she will be away to 10 days.
Now you just know that just gives me something else to worry about!!
Did you know that I was a born worrier? Danny says I'm not happy unless I've got something to worry about but I don't think I am any different to any other mother out there!!!
One of our doctors retired from our practice today and we had a special lunch for him at work. He is a lovely man and will be missed.
It was a great lunch though with lots of laughs and food. The only trouble with that though was we had to go back to work and nobody really wanted to.
I took the above picture last weekend when we went to the food show just to prove it was a lovely day - just look at that blue sky!!!
The weathermen predicted very cold weather this weekend - let me just say there weren't wrong. It is bloomin' freezing here - in fact in some areas snow in predicted.
Have a lovely weekend everybody.

enjoy your few hours with laura. you sound like my mother - always worried about at least some of her 8 kids. :)
If this day was so beautiful as the picture, it was really wonderful. Yours.

Dimi..
Hope your car gets fixed and you get to get away.
Oh,it is quite natural for mother; I miss my late mother for her care p:)
I wonder if you are having or had a wonderful time at Loch Ness, my friend♬♬♬
Sending you lots of love and hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*
Hope you have a lovely week off
and that you do get to go away
even for a night, it will do you both good.
I am like you a worrier,
I worry when there is nothing to worry about,
constantly worrying.
My daughter is away for the weekend
with friends and her friend is driving I won't rest until I hear her key in the door this evening.
It is very foggy and miserable here today and quite cold.
I hope that neither you or I get snow!
Have a great week, at home or away
x Fiona
